CHARITY SPOTLIGHT: Children’s Hospital Colorado
While meeting mamas across the US on our #MHROADTRIP, we’re giving back to their communities! MEET CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL COLORADO
Our Colorado mama, Andrea, was passionate about spotlighting the Children’s Fund for the Children’s Hospital Colorado, a nonprofit hospital with locations across the state. Children’s Colorado uses the Children’s fund to respond quickly to the most urgent priorities throughout the hospital’s healthcare system, ensuring kids and families have the tools, resources, treatments and services they need to heal.
Mission Statement:
As a private, non-profit pediatric hospital, our mission is to improve the health of children through the provision of high-quality, coordinated programs of patient care, research, education, and advocacy.
Your service area:
We are Colorado’s only licensed specialty hospital exclusively for children, and we care for patients from all 50 states and at least 35 countries. We are the only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in our region, and our Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit offers the smallest patients the highest level of care. That’s why we have locations across the state, 1,300 clinics in the larger region, and are continually working to increase the capacity of our telehealth services.
How do you assist mothers & children?
In addition to providing top-quality medical care for children, we are devoted to families in all aspects. We include patients and their families in every care decision – and we do our best to make sure they don’t have to worry about anything else while they’re here. We know kids need to play, learn, and connect, even when they’re sick, and we offer dozens of amenities to do just that.

- Seacrest Studios – in-house radio and TV broadcast studio for kids

Regional clinics and care, to decrease the stress on families needing to travel, and help patients be treated closer to home.

Patients and families in financial need, to aid traveling families with expenses and subsidize health care costs for patients and parents in need.
How to donate:
All unrestricted donations to the Children’s Fund help Children’s Hospital Colorado address the greatest needs of their patients and families and direct funds to where they can do the most good. Your unrestricted donation can fund the most innovative treatments for patients, financial assistance to those who need it most, and the continuation of life-saving research.
