All things babymoon & the pregnancy clothes you need for this memorable trip.

We think the babymoon is – dare we say it – back on the table? After a year (and then some) of this being an “absolutely not,” traveling is no longer out of the question. And really – what better time to get away than before baby comes? Because once that little person is here, pampering and relaxation aren’t exactly priorities.

And on top of that, we’ve all been stuck at home. So we know you’re more than ready to get back to planning a (much needed) vacation. Here are some of the sun-drenched destinations to consider, plus our best maternity vacation styles to pack for your last (for a while, at least) couples retreat.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists recommends traveling mid-pregnancy (14 to 28 weeks). By then, morning sickness will hopefully be a thing of the past and it’s still easy(ish) to travel and get around.

Talk to your doctor before traveling and, if applicable, to make sure you’re able to travel far distances. That way, you’ll feel better about planning a getaway to begin with.

Do what you and your partner are comfortable with – some couples see this as an opportunity to cross a destination off their bucket list, while others are more comfortable staying closer to home (and have just as great of a time).

On that note…don’t feel the need to go for a long period of time and take copious amounts of time off! A weekend getaway can be just as fun & effective – full of mini adventures you’ll always hold close to your heart.

Babymoon outfits? Look no further. From maternity dresses to maternity bathing suits, we’re your one stop shop for your bump-celebratory escape.

The perfect maternity dress for everyday wear – while also being stylish & flattering. This must-have comes in two pops of color or classic black and features a cinch waist for comfort that will take you from daytime adventures to dinner with a view with ease.
It’s a best-seller for a reason. This ultra-flattering maternity swimsuit feels like a second skin plus it features UPF 50+ fabric that protects while also looking fantastic. Bonus points for the ruffle front detail, which is the stylish touch you’ve been waiting for.
The laid-back outfit staple that every soon-to-be vacation mama needs in her suitcase. The adjustable straps make it super easy to accommodate any stage of pregnancy and it’s effortless enough to throw on for any activity you have planned.
A flattering fit and feel-good fabric make these shorts a no-brainer. Crafted with our Secret Fit Belly, this pair can easily be pulled over or folded below the bump – plus the smart pockets make them oh-so functional.
This throw-it-on-and-go jumpsuit is perfect for a babymoon. It looks effortlessly stylish but takes no time at all to put on – plus it’s breezy enough for those tropical & sunny locations. Dress it up with strappy heels for dinner or pair with sandals or white sneaks!

Now for the fun part – where to actually go on your babymoon. For the best of all worlds – food, culture, and warmth – head to Charleston, South Carolina. There are parks, beaches, and plenty of brunch spots to keep everyone happy.

Or, if you’re a nature-loving couple and have been itching to breathe in that mountain air, head to Acadia National Park in Maine for a quick escape. You can never go wrong with glamping. Phoenix or Sedona in Arizona are two other hotspots right now that could make for an unforgettable nature-filled trip. You’re surrounded by picturesque views with peaceful sunsets and tons of food spots to try – what’s not to love?

Another trendy desert location with plenty of activities is Palm Springs, California, where you can stroll through botanical gardens, lounge by the pool, and take a day trip to Joshua Tree. And then of course, there’s Cape Cod. Pamper yourself with this true romantic escape that can accommodate whatever kind of itinerary you want.
