Padded Cup Underwire Full Coverage Nursing Bra 3.4 5 208 208
Ouch So I normally wear a 40DDD or a 42DD in other bras, so I ordered a 42E. Maybe my mistake was wearing this bra for a long shift at work for the first time. Either way, the lace was uncomfortable, the band was tight and cutting me in half, and the cups were not big enough. I had some side boob spilling, and it didn't look flattering on top of being very uncomfortable. Why make plus size run small? October 15, 2014
regret purchasing I gave this 3 stars only because it's not the worst bra I have ever worn. The cups run small and so does the band. The lace is itchy and not very flattering. Prior to getting pregnant I was using a 36DD in a popular name brand bra and enjoyed them thoroughly. This bra is uncomfortable and with my growing body I hate having to go up to such a large size so early on. But with being so “well endowed” Motherhood Bras are the only ones who will go up in size during my pregnancy and nursing, I am glad that they are available regardless of the look and feel. Absolutely no stretch so if you are borderline on a size, definitely want to consider going up a size. I ordered the size my measurements suggested and it just fits....may not once my breasts begin to swell during feeding. Likely would not buy again. September 1, 2014
Great bra....until it breaks. I have 5 kids and have been nursing for quite a few years in total. With my first three pregnancies, I was smaller in size all around and had a relatively easy time finding a nursing bra that would support and still function like I needed it to. With my last two pregnancies, I gained a lot of weight and my bra size changed drastically. I was SO GRATEFUL to have found this bra and to know I could walk into Motherhood Maternity and buy it right off of the rack. However, after now losing my 3rd bra to a problem with the underwire, I feel like it's time to look around more. :( The pros of this bra are: -Great fit. No bulges of material anywhere. -Comfortable (as comfy as an underwire bra made to hold heavy nursing boobs CAN be! hehe). -Thick material on the cups means not only do my nursing pads NOT show their shape through the bra but if I happen to not have a clean one, even a little wetness from a surprise let-down won't leave me looking like I was in a wet t-shirt contest! -Lifts and separates like nobody's business! I seriously love the shape this bra gives me under my clothing. I feel womanly and beautiful. The cons of this bra are: -Straps are on the thin side. You'd think with a bra made at 46F, the straps would be considerably thicker to support but not so. I find that if I wear the bra two or three days in a row w/o washing (totally possible here in the COLD WINTER of the Midwest), the slides to adjust the strap also slide easier and bc they loosen throughout the day, I end up pulling the straps up off of my arms. -Underwire breaks through the fabric over time. I have had a total of 6 of this particular bra and this is the 3rd bra to have this problem with. It's getting old!!! September 1, 2014
