for proper fit and maximum effectiveness, measure around the largest part of your waist or hip, and purchase size small (24-30 in), medium (32-38 in) or large (40-46 in).
the postpartum support belt is designed to be easy to put on without assistance. grip the support at each end and place the loop pad over your abdomen. stretch, and touch the hook to the loop, and your support is secure! you may vary tension by adjusting the amount of stretch.

Works GREAT!!!!!!! I was VERY sceptical reading others reviews but, hey I had to try it. I bought a medium and a small, like some suggested, and I'm glad I did. As of tomorrow I will be 4 days out of the hospital. I didn't wear my wrap in the hospital but tried the small when I got home and there was nooooooo way it was reaching the other side. So, medium it was and after 2 days wearing it (and NOT EVEN CLOSE to wearing it 24/7) I was ready for the small. Everyday my tummy is noticeably smaller. I am breast feeding and they say that helps with the tummy return but I didn't shrink this fast with my first baby over 8 yrs ago and he was nursed as well. So, heck yeah, I am over the moon amazed and pleased with the results. June 10, 2012

it's ok... Bought this as I had to have a c section to deliver my first baby, hoping the band would help with recovery. It is possible to put on by yourself, within reason, and provides reasonable pressure support. Biggest downsides are the velchro chews up the material if it snags elsewhere then where it's suppose to and if you have ANY curves at all (and you will!), it folds over and creases right at the waist... Not comfy if you plan on sitting or do anything! The band provided by the hospital works much better but requires help to put on. March 1, 2013
